Masonicare at Mystic is a resort style Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care community. All the main activity areas are in the center of the plan with direct access to the main entrance. Each branch of the community also has their own smaller living room and activity areas. The memory care section is the only branch that has its own dining room. Also, the main walkway in the memory care section forms a circle so the residents can walk through the whole area without getting lost or getting to a dead end. This section also has its own closed in courtyard. The floor plan provides plenty of activity areas for the residents and staff to use.
This property is located near the water and wanted its community to reflect a beach resort. The main colors used in the common areas are blues and browns to reflect the shore. There are also many windows to let in natural light. Natural elements such as greenery, wood, and brick are also used in the space to give it an earthier feel. Overall the design of the community is to look and feel like a resort.

Waltonwood Providence is a community designed to make you feel at home. The memory care section is separated off with a secure entrance. It also has its own courtyard for residents which includes a circular walking path. The furniture and fabrics used in the space give it a residential feel. Also the crown molding and brown tones make it feel like a home and not like a hotel or hospital. The high ceilings and tall windows make the space look bigger. It also brings in a lot of natural light. Waltonwood Providence is designed to make residents feel comfortable and at home.
